Here's one end of the conference room. Where is everyone??? No doubt many were visiting some of those shops!
There was a lot of quilting going on, and so I thought that I would show a sample of the types of projects that were worked on. (Never end a sentence with a preposition . . . unless of course it would sound really, really awkward not doing so. . . .)
This pretty quilt on one of the design walls is the work of Joy pictured below holding her table runner.
Later, Laurel put some of her blocks on the same wall.
On Saturday, Mary Cannizzaro of Cannizzaro Creations taught a collage class. Just look at Christine's colorful, jaunty rooster and Anne's tree of life. Anne M. intends to add more branches to her piece.
I loved the bright, happy colors Anne D. chose for her string quilt blocks, and she graciously put a few on the design wall so I could take this photo. Yummy colors . . .
Many blocks were made this weekend for our guild raffle quilt which I believe will be a queen size when completed.
Edith worked on many projects including her own blue and white quilt.
Of course, this was only a very small sample of the beautiful work done this past weekend. Aren't quilt getaways fun!!!
