On Wednesday we took the train from La Spazia to Cinque Terre in the Liguria region of Italy. We were able to visit three of the five villages. First, we visited Monterosso where we had lunch at a restaurant at the water's edge.
Next we headed to Vernazza.
Our final stop was at Manarola.
As you can see, Cinque Terre is truly a magical place to return to one day. Because of the difficulties in posting on an iPad, I may not be able do any more posting until early next week when I will share photos from the rest of our wonderful trip.
